“A lot of what you see [in Reflections in Cleveland] is a working-class industrial city: the mines, the smokestacks, the massive boats that are the size of Tower City,
the whole cityscape of the Flats before the city is awake.”

In 2017, after the passing of a coworker, Christina purchased 2 purple kayaks dubbed “The Mermaid Squad.” Soon after she began taking her camera out on the water to photograph the city from a new, interesting vantage point. Reflections of Cleveland opened in January 2018 at e11even 2 Gallery. The images were also featured at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Crooked River Contrasts Art Exhibit, which celebrated 50 years of environmental resurgence since the final Cuyahoga River fire in 1969.
